It was an absolutely huge news article (to me) and one that would upset my whole day. The local newsreader had just confirmed that ‘ROBBIE WILLIAMS’ had proposed to his girlfriend Ayda Field live on the Australian radio station 2Day FM and worse still she had accepted.

Alright, so to most people I understand that this news article isn’t a big story. There haven’t been any huge disasters anywhere, nobody has died and everybody was happy. Well everybody else, but not me.

In my house it has always been a standing joke that should Robbie take a shine to me, I would be out of here, gone in a flash, with no thought to my hubby and kids.

They always thought I was having a laugh, but something about Robbie just makes me go all silly. It would seem that Ayda has something I don’t – probably beauty, a fabulous figure and more importantly she now has ROBBIE.

It was funny as soon as my daughter heard the news she laughed and said ‘bad luck mum, Robbie is engaged’. Even my son, who normally doesn’t even speak until at least midday managed to wind me up about the situation.

How can you think it funny to joke about something so heartbreaking. I can assure you that my family will be suffering this weekend for their cruelty.

Now who am I going to drool over on the television, who is going to put a smile on my face every morning when I wake up and look at his picture on my calendar? What is there that I can do?

So why don’t i tell you the story. There have been several occasions where this story has arisen but the most commonly known one is this. Somewhere in the east of Canada there was a forest fire. After the blaze had been settled and the fire extinguished, there were some charred remains of a Scuba Diver was found at the top of one of the burnt trees. Now it gets interesting. It was at first completely baffling as to why a man in full scuba gear, wet suit and oxygen tanks was found in the middle of a forest fire in a tree. When it was established he didnt die of burns but instead of internal injuries, enquiries were made.

Much investigation went underway to establish how this had happened. What they found out, nobody could have guessed. Basically the Scuba Diver had been diving off the coast about 20km away from the forest fire. What had happened is one of the helicopters that scoops water into their massive 10,000 gallons scoops had engulfed the unfortunate diver as well. Unbelievably he was then dropped out of the sky with the water into the fire and hit one of the trees.

This story has come up several times, yet nothing has ever come of it, surely the government would like to cover this up to avoid huge embarrassment and possibly massive spending fees to fix this scoop system?
